Dakota Fanning possible 'Jane' in Twilight's 'New Moon'?

Rumors have been going around that the very talented, young actress Dakota Fanning is under consideration for the role of 'Jane' in Twilight's sequel 'New Moon'.


Access Hollywood recently spoke to Dakota, who said: 'I think it's too soon to tell if I'll for sure be doing it, but it's so great. I'm a really big fan of that series and the first film and all the actors, so it would be wonderful. I don't think they'll have to put a lot of makeup on me. I'm pretty white already. Pretty much all my friends are pretty big fans, so it would be great.'


Summit Entertainment reps confirmed: 'We are considering all actors that have the unique requirements for the look of Jane, Dakota being one of them.'

Twilight's Robert Pattinson says shooting those intimate make-out scenes with co-star Kristen Stewart was scary.

"Yeah, I mean, it's terrifying," he says in the Dec./Jan. issue of Seventeen magazine. "Especially when you kiss and you've got to do it at a weird angle or something. "But I'm skirting the answer because I'm a really bad kisser," he says. "That's why I don't want to go into details!"

Pattinson, who plays sexy vampire Edward Cullen in the flick (out Nov. 21), adds that he hadn't "kissed anyone for awhile before the movie, so I'd kind of forgotten how!" Co-star Kellan Lutz, who plays Pattinson's brother, Emmet Cullen, also reveals his tips for ladies wanting to keep a guy: "Do not write an essay in every text, like, 'Oh, I had a great time, and we should do it again, and your eyes were so cute when you bowled!'" he says. "That's like, 'Whoa.' Keep it short and simple: 'Yeah, let's do it again sometime.' It keeps him waiting for it."

Who wouldn't mind kissing Robert, even if he thinks he's a bad kisser?

Kristen Stewart: 'Teen Vogue' Covergirl December 2008

Kristen Stewart enters the Twilight Zone in the December 2008 issue of Teen Vogue.


On getting the script even though she had never even heard of the books:
“ I guess I was just living under rocks and mountains. And though we were warned, I figured it would be a pretty exclusive fan base. I thought we were making a cult movie; I had no idea it was going to be this, like, phenomenon.”

On her character Bella Swan, a recently relocated high school junior who falls in love with a vampire named Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson):
“Bella’s a very relatable girl. She inhabits qualities that most girls have, even if it’s not on the surface… What I love about the story and what puts it on a different level is that it’s ‘chemical’…there’s nobody else for either of them. Period.” (She did, on occasion, draw from her own romantic life – she’s been with boyfriend Michael Angarano “forever” as she puts it.)

On the fashion world:
“If I’m just chilling out, then people can see me any which way, but it’s different when you’re putting yourself together to do something professionally. You’re under a lot of scrutiny. It’s a bizarre thing, to me, to consider that what I wear or what I do with my hair, can affect my career… I’m not the type of person who has a million things in my closet to put together, so I’ve begun to work with a stylist and we’ve started to figure out what I like. Simple, classically pretty things; I love Chanel.”

Times, Robert said he knew that big changes were in store as soon as he landed the role of Edward in the movie adaptation of Stephenie Meyer’s bestselling novel. “It’s happened since the day it got said that I was playing the part. It was like a day when it changed. [People went from saying] ‘Are you the guy from Harry Potter? to ‘It’s Edward!’ It’s really, really strange.”
